Leptospirosis is still a threat to public health in Indonesia, and even continues to spread and can cause death. This Epidemiological Investigation aims to confirm and obtain an epidemiological description of the Leptospirosis outbreak in Pitue Village, Ma'rang District, Pangkajene Regency, Archipelago, South Sulawesi Province. The investigation used a descriptive method with a case report design. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation techniques. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the investigation showed that an outbreak had occurred in Islands Pangkajene Regency, marked by the emergence of new cases that did not exist before. The source of transmission came from the local area where rat samples were found positive for Leptospirosis. Even though cases of risk are not widespread, surveillance needs to be carried out strictly to find out the factors and efforts to overcome them.

ABSTRAK
Leptospirosis masih menjadi ancaman bagi kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, bahkan terus menyebar dan dapat menyebabkan kematian. Penyelidikan Epidemiologi ini bertujuan untuk memastikan dan mendapatkan gambaran epidemiologis Kejadian Luarbiasa (KLB) Leptospirosis di Desa Pitue Kecamatan Ma’rang Kabupaten Pangkajene Kepulauan Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penyelidikan deskriptif dengan desain case report. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penyelidikan menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) Leptospirosis di Kabupaten Pangkajene Kepulauan, ditandai dengan munculnya kasus baru yang sebelumnya tidak ada. Sumber penularan berasal dari wilayah setempat dengan ditemukannya sampel tikus positif Leptospirosis. Walaupun kasus tidak meluas, namun perlu dilakukan surveilans ketat untuk mengetahui factor risiko dan upaya penanggulangannya.
